meet me.
Hi, I’m Connor Matthews—a Public Relations student at North Carolina State University with a passion for connecting people, telling impactful stories, and building strong communities. My professional journey has been shaped by hands-on experience in sales, project management, and digital communication, giving me a well-rounded perspective on how to create meaningful relationships and drive results.
One of my most rewarding experiences was managing Instagram accounts that collectively amassed over 250,000 followers across platforms. These accounts generated multi-millions in impressions and involved public relations campaigns with brands and promotions. From crafting content to executing strategic collaborations, I developed a deep appreciation for how digital platforms can amplify stories and foster meaningful engagement.
Outside the classroom and workplace, I’m passionate about the outdoors. Growing up in North Carolina, I developed a love for snow skiing, hiking, and spending time on the golf course. As a proud member of a state championship golf team, I’ve learned the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—qualities I carry into every project I take on.
At my core, I’m a people person. I thrive on collaboration, learning from others, and tackling challenges with an open mind and a positive attitude. I’m committed to making a difference, whether it’s through strategic communication, fostering community engagement, or simply encouraging those around me to reach their potential.
Let’s connect and create something great together!
